Sidney Staxurd

Sid Staxrud is a long-time resident of Los Alamitos. He and his wife have raised three beautiful daughters. Sid retired from the position of Executive Assistant to the Command from the Department of the Navy-Naval Sea Systems Command, Long Beach Naval Shipyard. He is the proud recipient of the Meritorious Civilian Service Medal from the Department of the Navy. Sid is also a member of the National Association of Superintendents. He has not had previous non-profit experience, but as a Board Director he will bring his years of business experience to help preserve St. Isidore Historical Plaza and to meet its goal to become a full-service community center.
