Eva Hilts
Eva Hilts was born just around the corner from St. Isidore. Eva says, “Since the opening of St. Isidore in 1920, our family has been part of its history with baptisms, weddings, fiestas and celebrations. Hence my ties are personal and life-long.” Eva earned her Bachelor’s in Education and Master’s in Educational Administration from California State University, Long Beach. After thirty-two year career in education, where she worked her way up to a position as a coordinator, Eva retired from LA Unified School District in 2006. She currently works part-time supervising student teachers for Chapman University. Eva is the Vice President of St. Isidore Historical Plaza and a member of the Board of Directors.
